Each year in September , monarchs will begin their migration south to Mexico. 
Those coming from Canada will make a long trek across Lake Erie and stop to rest at Wendy Park in Cleveland, OH.  They usually arrive in large numbers around the middle of the month.  It is truly a sight to behold when thousands stop at Wendy Park before continuing south.  They usually only stay overnight; depending on the weather that Cleveland is experiencing.
